Fringe Cafe and Restaurant199 King St

When shopping in Newtown its almost mandatory that you stop at one of the plethora of cafes and sip for a while and watch the world go by. We noticed Fringe Cafe & Restaurant was a newish addition to the scene so we decided to pay a quick visit.
Its a pleasant place that stretches back from the main road but has a completely open frontage and a few lounges to relax in. We ended up in the prime position right at the front for some coffee and people watching.
The coffee was good and the place just had a nice feel to it.
They have a decent range of food here too - ranging from snacks like the banana bread we shared right through to full meals. The excellent service they provide here is probably going to get plenty of people back once they try it.
