Being billed as having the best laksa in the ACT puts some pressure on a place - so I was curious to see if the hype was true. It was. The stuff here is great. I arrived on a mid-week evening when most places are quiet - but this place wasn't. There was a queue already and it was full.





So I made a sudden decision on take-away.


The spring rolls were crisp and tasty. They came with a nice sweet dipping sauce and were nicely done. At $6.00 a serve they were reasonably priced too for four of them.

Then came the main course - prawn laksa. As it was take-away it came in two containers - one with the soup base and one with the rest - noodles, sprouts, dried onion, prawns etc. The combination was great. The laksa was rich and flavoursome with a nice bight to it as well.

I now understand why this place has such a good reputation for its laksa - and I agree with it.
