The name of these tasty treats - Moo Poo Tarts - will either tempt you to give them a go or possibly scare you off!
It's a catchy name for a delicious sweet. The history of this tart stems from Malaysia where they were originally named as cow dung or cow poo tarts.
Davina Wong has recreated this delicacy here in Australia and called them Moo Poo Tarts. The tarts are thin layers of cake with a swirl of very light soft meringue creating a pool that is then filled with a light custard. They were delicate and tasty. They are also available from Bamboo Lounge Cappuccino Bar at 336 Sussex St Sydney CBD.
Sir and Mlady were given Moo Poo Tarts to sample.
