POLINA'S CAFE - CESSNOCK, NSW

Polina’s Cafe
49 Vincent St
Cessnock, NSW

There are a surprising number of cafes in the main drag of Cessnock - but then again, there is a lot of passing traffic going to the wine district of the Hunter Valley. Polina’s is one of the quirkier ones. It has real charm and atmosphere and some good food and coffee too!

Of course the necessary couple of coffee’s to start the day are essential. They arrived quickly and tasted good so both these boxes were ticked!

Sir loves a B & E Roll for breakfast and often satisfies this love. Today was no exception. This Bacon and Egg Roll with homemade relish and baby spinach was a tasty one. The relish had a great rich flavour and everything was nicely cooked. There was plenty of bacon on this roll too.

Mlady was after a lighter brekkie - again not unusual - and grabbed some seeded sourdough with peanut butter. It was nice to see a decent sized side of peanut butter too - no skimping here!

We couldn’t help taking a wander around this quirky café. Even though it isn’t massive, there are several different areas here and lots of ornaments and bit and pieces around. They have some local produce for sale as well.

Polina’s left us full from the food, satisfied and more than happy to return. Next time we’ll look around the place even more - without trying to look too snoopy!
