Cafe Tiere is a really nice place. Friendly service, pleasant decor and decent food make it a welcome addition to the food district in Brighton.

The new owners of Cafe Tiere are very nice and will make you feel welcome.

We popped in for some breakfast and enjoyed what we had.

For only 2.80 I expected the toast with cheese to be one slice. Instead it was two.

The servings here are generous, the food freshly made and the service fast and friendly.

The cheese on toast was very nicely done. Yes its a basic meal - but basics done well are sometimes harder to find than we would like or expect.

I actually struggled to finish this.

Mlady had an even simpler meal - toasted brown bread with butter and marmalade.

Many places use packets of butter and marmalade these days and its easy to see why. However, its so much nicer to have them served in small bowls like this.

We also had our obligatory coffees as well. They were also nice.

Cafe Tiere is a lovely little place that has a simple but effective menu, good friendly service and a nice decor. Try it.
