Dinoni Cafe
8 Railway Parade
Thornleigh, Sydney
Dinoni is a somewhat hidden café that sits in a retail area near the railway line at Thornleigh. It's a deceptive place though as it stretches quite a way inside. On a sunny day it also has a nice outdoor area to sit in too.
Mlady had the ironically named - The Petite. We say ironic as it turned out to be quite a substantial meal. What arrived was a plate packed with two eggs any way you like - which was scrambled in this case - a hash brown, a pile of bacon, wilted spinach, grilled tomato and of course toast. The Petite was a gig hearty meal that had a great mix of ingredients.
Sir had the more bitey Mexican Baked Eggs. This was a lovely round baking dish filled with spiced beans in chunky tomato salsa with chorizo all topped with two baked eggs and served with a side of toasted sourdough. It was a big meal with big flavours and a bit of bite. He loved it. A few coffee's also washed it all down and hit the spot nicely too.
Dinoni Café also has an interesting lunch menu and they're about to open for dinner three nights a week as well.
The food here at Dinoni Café is really good. They serve big flavours and big dishes. It's a bit hidden away but worth finding.
