Unsurprisingly, with a name like The Bunker Cafe it’s connected to golf. In this case it’s actually connected to both a golf driving range and a put put course too. There’s plenty of people coming through here and it creates a great opportunity. They’ve tapped in to this well with a good range of food and drink choices and all in a pleasant space. The outdoor area is particularly popular on a nice day.
The idea of a late morning “snack” of sticky date pudding with butterscotch sauce and ice cream seemed indulgent but good. The pudding itself was quite a decent size and the sauce poured over it (and drizzling down the sides) was rich, thick and sweet. We’d definitely have this one again!
This almond and berry tart was another tasty dish. The slice itself was tasty and a good size and it also came with a side of whipped cream.
If you’re like us, the words “chocolate brownie” almost beckon from any menu. We’ve certainly sampled plenty of them across Sydney and in our travels. This one was thick, rich and sweet so it ticked all the required “choc brownie” boxes.
They do a decent coffee here too. We ordered a few and enjoyed them.
Apart from cakes and sweets they do a range of other dishes here too, including some that are more substantial. The cakes though really do grab attention.
We were very satisfied after our visit to The Bunker Cafe. The food was good, service was friendly and the servings were a decent size. The nice coffee was an added bonus too. It was easy to see why plenty of people were grabbing drinks and food here after there golf.
