Vini’s Café
13 Victoria Pde
Manly, Sydney
Manly has a great casual vibe and so does this cute little eatery on the street corner right near the water. With sunny outdoor tables (dog-friendly) and cosy rustic indoor seating, it has a loyal local following.
The menu looks good, with a big choice of all-day breakfast options and lunch from 11.30am. Lunches are light and healthy – sandwiches and wraps, salads, pasta, fish & chips and calamari. You can even order a beer or wine and they have great coffee too!
Dame M chose The Benny, eggs Benedict served on two English muffin halves with wilted spinach and a choice of bacon, ham or smoked salmon. It was smothered in tasty hollandaise sauce and the two eggs were poached perfectly. Delicious!
Dame V opted for the Big Breakfast. It was a tempting array of avocado, mushrooms, halloumi, roasted tomatoes, beautifully poached eggs and toast. It tasted as good as it looked and was a very generous serving. A great choice.
It was so nice sitting in the sun being looked after by such lovely staff, watching the world go by, we didn’t want to leave.
Vini’s Cafe is open from 6.30am every day until 3pm and until 10pm Friday and Saturday evenings. Thanks to Fred and Vini for their wonderful hospitality.
Those Dames dined as guests of Vini’s. Special thanks to Claire and April from top PR and Marketing firm CPM Online Marketing for arranging this visit.
