Café Enzo
Broke Rd and Ekerts Rd
Pokolbin, NSW
Café Enzo is such a charming place. It really does have atmosphere. Situated in the heart of the Hunter Valley at Pokolbin, it oozes rustic charm. The good news though is that the food is great too.
Of course any breakfast or brunch usually starts with a caffeine fix - and today was no exception. Mlady ordered her half strength soy cappuccino and Sir his skim flat white. These arrived quickly too - which was good as they were certainly needed.
Mlady decided on a healthy start and chose the fruit salad. This automatically comes with sides of Byron Bay Brookfarm muesli and vanilla yoghurt, but she added an extra of honey. This really was an impressive meal. The bowl of freshly cut fruit was overflowing and bursting with vibrant colours. The taste was just as good.
Sir wanted eggs so he chose the truffle green peas. They came with smoked salmon and two nicely poached eggs on toasted sourdough. It was another dish that looked great and tasted fresh and delicious. They had the all important oozy yolks too.
There is so much atmosphere in this place, and outside it too! It has rustic charm and is a great any-occasion venue as well as one for a special event too. On that point, it’s no surprise that do in fact host special events here. It would undeniably be a beautiful wedding venue!
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Cafe Enzo. It’s such a pretty place to savour a good meal. The service was great and it’s ideal for breakfast, brunch or lunch while in Pokolbin.
