Cafe Florence is a very casual place on the mall at Hornsby. It has indoor seating but their al fresco area out the front is by far their most popular space.
Avocado, salmon and eggs are a combination that always seems to work for breakfast. This combo was no exception. Called the Nutrity Breakfast, it had smoked salmon on top of nice and fluffy scrambled eggs all on toasted sourdough and topped with a couple of big chunks of ripe avocado.
The Kick Start was scrambled eggs with a difference. The eggs came nicely scrambled with the addition of chopped bacon and basil all served with a side of toasted Turkish bread. It was a tasty start to the day that was also nice and filling.
An even simpler dish of scrambled eggs and toast was next. Again the eggs were nice and fluffy. It was a nice breakfast and quite filling with the side of toast.
Wev also threw in a blueberry muffin because they looked nice. They were massive too but still staayed light in texture.
This is a casual suburban café and it doesn’t pretend to be anything but this. It offers simple food in good sized servings and you’ll leave full.
Cafe Florence is a popular place for a meal at decent prices that fills you up. The place to grab is a seat at their outside area on a nice day. You can eat while you watch the world go by on the mall there!
