We wandered into Surry Hills for a spot on shopping but first thought we’d better have a decent brekkie to sustain us. We found a busy place with good atmosphere called Frothy and decided to grab something here.
Sir had his usual skim flat white. Mlady passed on having a coffee as she’d had one from her local on the way before heading into town. It was a good coffee to start the (shopping) day with!
Sir loves his runny eggs so when eyeing off the menu he spotted Green Eggs - nice. This yummy breakfast was sourdough, Avo spread (and he also LOVES avocado), Rocket, Poached eggs and Basil Pesto. The eggs were nicely cooked, lovely runny yolks, good flavours and plenty of colours.
Mlady wanted something substantial for energy as there was much shopping to be done. So she chose the Bacon and egg roll. You can choose your sauce so Mlady went with Barbeque. The roll was really lovely - it was a soft damper roll which held everything together nicely.
Frothy is a busy place but the food comes fast and things move at a good pace here. You can sit and relax though!
The food at Frothy is tasty and they have a varied menu - so something for everyone. Service is good and the staff were friendly.
