There’s nothing more iconic than going for brunch on Bondi Beach, and if you’re in that neck of the woods, be sure to check out Parida on Campbell Parade. It’s a great addition to the Bondi food scene with great views, awesome coffee and healthy, fresh food.
You can grab a take away coffee from the front window or take a seat for table service. The staff were super friendly and the whole place had a really laid back, relaxed vibe - no need to queue up and fight for a table even though it’s popular here!
Parida serve all day breakfast as well as some incredible lunch options from 11:30am. We were there early in the morning so we chose from the breakfast menu, which all looked incredible and unique and with options like Coconut Granola and a Falafel Wellness Bowl on offer, it was difficult to choose. We started with some coffees, which were strong and delicious and exactly what we needed to kick start our Saturday morning.
The Viscount decided on the Paleo Escabar which was a great take on the traditional scrambled eggs, cooked with Sriracha chilli and served with avocado, spring onion, crispy bacon and tomato salsa. This was a super tasty and healthy start to the day, with all the key ingredients of a great breakfast. The bacon was cooked perfectly, and the salsa added a beautiful freshness to the dish that could otherwise be quite heavy.
The Viscountess just had to order the Tahini Eggs, as she had never seen it on another breakfast menu. It was beautifully presented and had so many delicious elements, she didn’t really know where to begin. Served on a piece of flat pita bread, and topped with falafel, cucumber and fried chickpeas, there was a great combination of flavour and texture. The freshness of the cucumber helped cut through the tahini dressing and the poached egg for a beautiful and vibrant dish. This was a very generous serving, lucky the Viscountess was hungry.
This was a great breakfast spot, which we would highly recommend for those wanting to get a little adventurous with their weekend brunch. More than just a great view, Parida compliments the location with incredible and friendly staff, and of course, great food to top it off.
