We felt like having a meaty meal for dinner, so we popped to Grill@Gordon. It is BYO and has no corkage charge which is a also nice touch.
Sharing an entree we chose salt and pepper calamari. The salt and pepper calamari (being a bit of a favourite of ours) was nice and tender. The accompanying aioli certainly complimented it well. It was lovely dipping the tasty calamari into the very flavoursome aioli.
As a main Sir ordered the beef ribs which came with a very generous serving of yummy chips.
Ribs are pretty much a spectacular presentation and these certainly fitted into this category. They arrived on a wooden serving board and they really did look good. So appetising and Sir made light work of them. It was a big serving. The ribs were nice and charred outside with lovely tender meat inside and had a really good marinade. This was a hearty meal. Sir loved them!
Mlady opted for a beef burger - and asked for this to be well done. Arriving with a good supply of tasty chips, the burger really was yummy. The burger was cooked to Mlady's taste. A nice soft bun holding everything together with the mandatory knife placed in the middle. This too was a delicious and substantial meal.
Grill@Gordon is a simple place that serves very tasty food. It's not flashy but the food is certainly worth trying.
