Sydney's love of all things chocolate continues to flourish and grow - and the growth of Guylian venues certainly proves this. There are two Guylian's in the CBd and this more southern one is in a prime position right on George St near Town Hall station. It must have some of the heaviest foot traffic going past it in all Sydney.
They do a lot more than just chocolates here too, with waffles, cheesecakes and other sweet treats.
Sir went for the chocolate chip cookie. It had a generous coating of thick chocolate on top of it adding to the sweetness. The biscuit itself had a nice crunch and it was a decent size too.
Mlady, in need of a sweet fix as always, went for the cheesecake chocolate brownie. It was an interesting mix of components that satisfied here chocolate needs. As she loves cheesecake and chocolate it was a nice combo.
You can sit inside or outside at Guylian on George Street. Outside can be hectic as it's close to the foot traffic in the CBD although it's also perfect for people watching.
Guylian is in a prime position and certainly gets plenty of traffic flowing through its doors, especially in the evening on weekends. There's plenty of sweet choices available. Coffee is also on the menu although their hot chocolate seemed to be more popular when we visited.
