Kitchen By Culture
2 Cross St
Double Bay, Sydney
Kitchen By culture is a cute cafe and restaurant that sits on a leafy street in Double Bay. It’s a suburb known for its cafe culture and this place has a loyal customer base proving it well and truly fits in here and belongs.
This place has both inside and outside seating choices where you can enjoy a tasty meal from the menu or have something equally tasty from their counter. We ended up with a selection from each.
Mlady chose from the counter. She had a great Spanakopita that had lovely crisp pastry with plenty of tasty cheese and spinach filling inside. Accompanying this delicious and very substantial dish was a fresh and vibrant salad.
Sir chose another substantial dish - Blue Swimmer crab spaghetti. This amazing dish had a lot going on with it. It had lovely al dente spaghetti, heirloom cherry tomatoes, asparagus, pomelo chilli and crispy basil. It all had such nice fresh colours and textures that looked good and tasted even better. Itv really was a delicious mix.
Our drinks of choice were coffees, for both of us. Sir had his usual, small skim flat white and Mlady had her weak soy cappuccino. They were both good brews too.
There really is a long list of choices here. It’s a good idea to study both the menu and the counter. The range is wide and varied. There are plenty of sweet choices there too!
Sir and Mlady dined as guests of Kitchen By Culture. Thank you to Lizzy and Laura for looking after us while there. Special thanks to Claire and April from CPM Online Marketing for arranging this visit.
