Tide Cafe
Rose Bay Marina
594 New South Head Rd
Rose Bay, Sydney
Tide Cafe is literally a hidden treasure nestled in the very beautiful Rose Bay Marina in Sydney's eastern suburbs. We arrived for brunch on a sunny Saturday and although the place was full, it wasn't long before we had a table. The view is just lovely - there's a lovely beach just to the right with waters so still and calm it looks like a postcard but also to your left, you have a sea of boats and yachts glistening in the sunshine.
Tide cafe offers all day breakfast and there are lots of different things on the menu that will satisfy most appetites. Count N went for the healthy option and ordered the Breakfast Salad. It was a beautiful fusion of flavours starring ingredients like Kale, Quinoa, Almonds and grilled carrot. All topped with two soft poached eggs. This meal packs protein, fibre and we can assure a lot of taste. Count N couldn't get enough of it.
Count J opted for a breakfast sandwich, the BLAT, which I'm sure you guessed it, had bacon, avocado tomato and lettuce. The sandwich was fresh and the bacon was crispy and with the beautiful creamy avocado in the middle, made for a perfect lunch dish.
All this food was enjoyed with a bottle of Capi sparkling mineral water. Its our favourite mineral water and its an Australian product, so even more reason to like it.
Our visit to Tide cafe was quick but the food was great and the view is just amazing.
We definitely will be back! There were a few burgers on the menu The Counts would like to try.
