Fratelli Fresh
81 Macleay Street
Potts Point, Sydney
Fratelli Fresh is located on Macleay Street in the heart of Potts Point’s buzzing dining hub.
There is wonderful produce and kitchen ware such as ornate bowls and utensils that can be bought here. We had a good wander around the aisles as there is a lot to see here.
We popped in for brunch and of course ordered the all-important coffee. Sir had his usual – skim flat white with one sugar and Mlady had hers, - weak soy cappuccino. We both enjoyed these. They arrived in cute bright red cups with saucers.
Sir had Avocado Crostini. Avocado is part of Sir’s staple diet – so he had to have this. It was made up of Pancetta, tomato, ricotta, sourdough and poached egg. It looked appetising and tasted yummy. The pancetta was lovely and crisp and oh yes – loved those poached eggs. The avocado was smashed and sat on top and was delicious.
Mlady loves scrambled eggs and ordered these and had it with sourdough. Mlady loves her pepper too. She had a good quantity of this sprinkled all over the scrambled eggs – lovely. The sourdough was quite crispy.
Breakfast is from 7am to 2pm which is pretty good and gives you an opportunity to enjoy a “light” meal should you rise on a Saturday morning after morning tea time – 10.00am like a lot of us do. The Fratelli brand has grown significantly and it's easy to see why!
