For a delicious meal, whether it be for brekkie, brunch, lunch or something else including something sweet, you can’t go wrong with Kafé Neo. They also serve great Campos coffee too! They are on the corner of Rocky Point Rd and Austral Street and we bet that the locals love it. Their food is fresh and ever so delicious and the staff are very friendly and accommodating.
We arrived at that in-between time – and had brunch.
That all important first coffee of the day was the first thing we had. Sir his usual skim flat white with one sugar and Mlady her usual - weak (half strength) soy cappuccino. The coffee was “Ahhhhh” and they both certainly “touched the spot”!
Sir selected from the “Specials” board. Smashed Avo and fetta w/grilled cherry tomatoes, bacon, and poached egg on sourdough toast. When it arrived it looked amazing and smelled delish! The bacon was wonderfully crisp and the tomatoes were juicy and sweet – and the poached egg – well – just as he likes it – runny. It was fresh and vibrant and a good way to start (his) the day.
Mlady chose from the menu, a Vegetarian omelette. This consisted of an egg white omelette, tomato, Spanish onion, spinach, haloumi, red capsicum and basil. Mlady chose soy and linseed for her toast. This vibrant dish looked so good and was presented on a plate that was similar to a small pizza plate. There was plenty of this scrumptious fare and Mlady thoroughly enjoyed it. It was such a great combination and very flavoursome.
To accompany her meal, Mlady also had a juice. It was a combination of watermelon and orange juice. This was so refreshing and it complemented her meal really well.
