The first thing you notice about Milligram are the views! It sits right at the top of Birkenhead Pointy Shopping Centre with one area looking out over the water and the other area looking in and down on the shopping complex. You have a choice of which view to take in! We chose the water views and didn't regret it.
Drinks first and Mlady had a . Sir uncharacteristically chose a hot chocolate made with Belgian chocolate - which was probably the feature that swayed him!
In a grazing mood we decided to share one dish - and settled on the grilled marinated baby octopus salad. It had plenty of tender octopus mixed with mixed leaves, bocconcini, artichoke, cucumber, medley of tomatoes all drizzled with a tangy lemon dressing. It looked good and it tasted good.
It's a pleasant spot up on top of Birkenhead gazing down on the atrium or out across the water.
Milligram has a choice of areas and it seems to get a constant flow of business right across the day. We left Milligram satisfied.
