Passiontree Velvet has made it to St Ives! This suburb in the north of Sydney is one that is travelled though so much so it's great to have a place to drop in for a sweet treat. We did just this on our way back from the northern beaches recently.
Already being quite full - surprise surprise - we decided to share a couple of things. First choice - Sirs - was this lovely chocolate and peanut tart with salted caramel inside and a peanut butter macaron perched on top. It looked stunning and tasted great. It was a thick one too and very filling.
Second choice - Mlady's - was a couple of their macarons. She decided on a vanilla macaron and a chocolate one too. These were certainly delicate, light and full of flavour. Macarons are such a favourite treat of ours and these didn't disappoint.
Passiontree Velvet does much more than this. They do a wide range of full breakfasts which is well worth checking out, a range of lunch options that also look very tasty and their impressive looking high trea's are worth a close look too. What ever you do though, save a little space for one of their sweet treats!
