SATANG THAI EXCLUSIVE | HAYMARKET, SYDNEY

Satang Thai Exclusive
382 Pitt St
Haymarket, Sydney

In the ever growing range of options in the Thainatown area of Sydney - read Haymarket - Satang Thai Exclusive has added their shingle in Pitt Street. To be completely correct, they've actually added a third shingle as they have two other places nearby. It's a good sign that they are obviously serving food that people like. We dropped by for a quick bite and to check them out.

The first dish was a  pad see-ew with prawns. It had the usual tangy sauce coating tender wide noodles and greenery for both colour and flavour. There were also plenty of plump juicy prawns in the dish. All in all a good one and at a good price too.

Our second choise was another noodle dish - the hokkien with chicken. Hokkien noodles are a favourite of ours anyway, and these came fried with bean sprouts, garlic, egg, cabbage, carrot and choy sum. There was also a good quantity of chicken in the dish as well. The verdict - nice flavours, good serving, plenty of meat and a good price.

Satang Thai Exclusive has a nice feel to it. They've clearly put some effort into the décor - and it shows. It's a small place but with a nice atmosphere.

The food at Satang Thai Exclusive was well worth having. We'd go back again. Big flavours combined well with good servings and good prices. The place has a nice feel too that adds to the whole experience.
