Not cooking doesn’t always translate to eating out. Take away food is so easily accessible these days it’s a great alternative. We decided we wanted seafood and headed to Saltwater to indulge our whim. We decided to create a seafood grazing board and order lots of bits and pieces to put this together.
Crumbed calamari was always going to be part of our meal. These rings were so tender on the inside and beautifully golden and crunchy on the outside. Good calamari is always a winner.
We both hadn’t had potato scallops forever. These were the things we grew up with and boy have we missed them. Seeing them listed made them a “must have” even though they weren’t seafood. The potato slices were tender inside and the batter was crisp as it should be. We loved this walk down memory lane!
Seafood sticks aren’t something we normally order but went there this time to add to the variety. They turned out to be a good choice. Mlady also grabbed a battered pineapple ring - something she loves.
Crab claws are something on some menu’s but not others. We spotted them here and decided to grab two. These golden balls of crab meat were tender and tasty.
Of course we needed some fish, but we decided on fish cocktails instead of the big bits. These were again great with juicy meat inside a lovely batter.
So this was the final product - our seafood grazing board. The variety was enough for this battered feast and the quality was great too.
Saltwater Seafood served us great quality fish and chip shop seafood. They of course had a lot more there but we just stuck to the smaller items for this visit.
