Badmanner Thymes Espresso
1 Horwood Place
Parramatta, Sydney
This cosy café in a quiet Parramatta laneway has plenty of nearby competition but seems to be very popular indeed. The décor is casual and the place has a nice friendly vibe. We are keen for a good brunch and the menu looks enticing.
We made our choices while Dame A enjoyed the “Tropical” juice and I had a superb coffee.
The Trio Benedict arrived looking impressive. One was vegetarian with avo, spinach, mushroom and peas. The second was smoked salmon and spinach and the third was a traditional bacon and spinach. Each had a different sauce and they were all topped with an oozy organic poached egg. It was such a perfect brunch choice and totally delicious!
Dame A’s Avo on Toast was beautifully plated and super tasty. The avo (on soy and linseed toast) was topped with lemon zest, finely chopped roma tomatoes, spinach and feta, nicely drizzled with balsamic.
During our visit there was a constant flow of customers and plenty of lovely dishes passing by. The lunch menu has a selection of burgers, including a vegetarian option and the salads looked appealing. At the front counter there is an array of cakes and slices and ready-made wraps and takeaway items.
Badmanner Thymes is open 7 days a week from 7am (8am on Sundays) and there is a convenient multilevel carpark right opposite. Those Dames dined as guests of Badmanner Thymes Espresso. Big thanks to Trina for arranging our visit.
