Arisun
35/1 Dixon St
Chinatown, Sydney
We needed a quick meal before heading on elsewhere and we were in Chinatown, so we took a wander and ended up in Arisun. It's quite a sprawling place with several indoor areas and a large outdoor area too that was heated. You order at the table and get given a number to take to the counter at the end to pay. The menu is long, with plenty of fried chicken options on show. We wanted a quick meal so we opted for some of the rice and noodle dishes. A bowl of kimchi arrived first to accompany our food.
The Korean barbecue beef and rice turned out to be a big serving. For the price, there was a surprisingly large amount of beef in it too and it was tender and tasty. This was a great filler meal with plenty of flavour.
The stir fried soy chicken noodles was a massive dish. Mlady struggled to finish it all and in fact didn't - it was just to big a serving. She really enjoyed it though as it was packed with plenty tender chicken pieces all mixed with a tangy sauce.
While Arisun is mostly known for its fried chicken, they have plenty of other dishes available and they come in big servings too. We will of course be back for the fried chicken though!
