Betty’s Burgers & Concrete Co

This place is both a meal destination as well as a desert hot spot. It can be both or either - it’s up to you. For us it was desserts only. we needed a sugar hit and spotted Betty’s and the decision was easy after that. In we went!
If you’ve ever seen or been to an American shake shack then this place will look familiar. It’s a similar décor. You order at the counter, get your buzzer, grab a table and wait. A short while later your food is ready and you go and pick it up at another counter. It’s an easy system and it works well.
The cookie butter concrete had vanilla custard, crumbled Biscoff cookies, cookie butter and cinnamon sugar. It was a rich, indulgent dessert with plenty of different goodies in the tub.
The peanut butter brittle concrete had chocolate custard, peanut brittle, Nutella, salted peanuts and whipped cream. We love peanuts and ice cream and this combo was delicious.
The chocolate hazelnut donut concrete had vanilla custard, glazed donut, Nutella, hazelnut crumble and whipped cream - although on this one we chose not to have the whipped cream. It’s great that their set combinations can be varied to suit individual tastes.
We did spy on some of the burgers at nearby tables and they also looked good. There’s always next time!
Betty’s Burgers & Concrete is a popular place. They don’t have the longest menu in Sydney but what they do offer they do well. And yes, we’ve still got those burgers on our minds!
