XS Espresso
9A/2 Windsor Rd,
North Parramatta, Sydney
XS impresses again with this Parramatta venue, sister of the successful Wetherill Park outlet. Rustic décor and leafy hanging baskets create a welcoming atmosphere and the counter display of pastries and cronuts will put a smile on your face immediately!
The famous XS menu of generous brunches, burgers, steak and pasta dishes will suit absolutely anybody. It’s all cooked and presented so well too.
We start with a long stack of pancakes from the breakfast menu. It’s covered in bananas and strawberries and topped with maple syrup and vanilla ice cream. Yum! Fresh and delicious. The Eggs Benedict came next with a choice of ham, bacon or salmon. It was absolutely wonderful – served on sourdough with wilted spinach and smothered in rich hollandaise sauce.

The lunch menu features a nice range of burgers and salads, pasta and chicken dishes. We chose Nonna’s Pasta – linguine in a light chilli Napoletana sauce base with tiger prawns, garlic, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and baby spinach. It was extremely tasty, with just the right amount of chilli for most tastes and the prawns were succulent.
A trip to XS Espresso MUST include one of their famous XS Shakes - monster dessert drinks bulging with all the treats you can imagine. The combinations are mindboggling. We chose the Original Cronut, dribbling with chocolate and sprinkles. We’d like to list what’s in it but we don’t have all day! The salted caramel sauce inside was delicious and the cronut was soft and flaky. You can see from the pics just how impressive these shakes are. Sweet tooth heaven!
We will most certainly be back for more – perhaps to try the dinner menu with burger and pizza choices as well as loaded fries. It’s a great place for families and there is a parking lot out front. Open 7 days a week from 7am until 10pm.
Those Dames dined as guests of XS Espresso. Special thanks to Claire McPherson and April from CPM Online Marketing Solutions for arranging this visit.
