It's a name that probably doesn't roll off the tongue quite as easily as some others but the food here is good. We mostly had snacks - the pre-Christmas unhealthy kind that are hard to resist - and devoured them. You can get snacks and meals in the bar area or go through to the restaurant part for a meal at a normal table. We chose the bar area as we were mostly snacking and having a few drinks.

The pork options are pretty good here. We tried both the crackling and the pork bites. The crackling was crisp and crunchy but the slightly oilier pork bites were a clear winner with all of us. They had a nice salty, meaty flavour and they were hard to resist - so we had two bowls.

In keeping with our "healthy" snacking we moved on to the garlic and pepper squid. It had a lovely coating and great flavours - and the squid was nice and tender inside too. We also had a serving of the more usual calamari rings.

Our final snack was a few skewers of the quail eggs deep fried in wonton wrappers. These were a great dish - super crisp on the outside and nice flavour inside. It's an unusual dish but it was very popular with our group.

We did move on to some mains after this which were all very tasty and very affordable too. The one thing we did discover - be careful about how hot you like your food. You can choose between mild, medium and hot. We all like a bit of spice so chose medium - and this turned out to be quite hot. Maybe we should have gone a scale down. Anyway, the food is good, servings are ample, service fast and prices affordable. It's a good choice.
