The first thing you notice about this place - is - well the place itself. There is no doubt you’re in the right place as the name lives up to the atmosphere. they’ve done a great job decking out this joint. It recreates a blacksmith shop feel but in a cafe. It works too. The use of copper and timber really goes well and they’ve added plenty of greenery too. It has the welcoming warm feel you’d expect at a blacksmiths!
We were really only dropping in for a coffee each but couldn’t resist a peek at the menu. We then decided to share the avocado and smashed edamame. It really was a great choice too. It arrived with two pieces of toast generously topped with green goodness - perfect for sharing! They also kindly gave us separate plates too. It was very tasty and there was plenty of it.
We of course did grab our coffee’s too. They arrived very quickly, nice and hot and were tasty brews.
Blacksmith is certainly quirky place that you have to see to believe. It’s quaint, cute and charming all in one. They Lao open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and times in between.
We really loved the whole atmosphere of Blacksmith. It’s a place where you must bring your camera! It’s so photogenic. We’re keen to drop by again and sample a bit more of the extensive food and drinks menu here.
