Little Hunan
17-19 Goulburn St
Chinatown, Sydney
Little Hunan has great street appeal with an adornment of spices and condiments in the doorway. It's also got a super cool mezzanine level that's worth a visit too.
We started with a tasty serving of the pan fried pork dumplings. With four big dumplings it was a decent sized start to the meal - and in fact these were bigger than we expoected and didn't lose flavour.
We stuck with crispy and went on to some very nice vegetable spring rolls. These are a go to dish for a quick lunch, especially as a starter. These were certainly perfectly crisp and gave way to a nice filling.
The final "starter" was a softer serving of steamed spinach dumplings with pork and prawns. These were silken and very tasty. They slid down and had a nice combination inside.
The dish of the day though was undoubtedly the delicious spare ribs with spiced salt. These were great and we could have eaten them all day. The flavours were so good and it was a big serving - thankfully!
We left Little Hunan full and satisfied. The food is good and its worth a visit or two as you work your way through a cross-section of menu items.
