The words Monday morning always get a reaction don’t they? It’s a time we always need a lift, often from a caffeine hit and therefore it’s a good name for a café. Monday Morning Café is in quite an isolated spot but seems to get a steady flow of people through their doors. When we were there it was very constant.
Bacon and egg rolls are a bit of a go-to and as it was on the menu we went there! It certainly was a big bun and had egg, bacon and cheese inside plus your choice of sauce. It was tasty and very filling.
Scrambled eggs are another favourite and so the two orders were decided. The eggs arrived on a plate to the side of the two pieces of toasted sourdough. A salad garnish added some further colour to the dish. The eggs were light and fluffy and it was a nice meal.
The coffee’s here were good. They arrived quickly, were nice and hot and tasted really good.
There’s an area out the front of the café and another courtyard area too. This gives them plenty of space to fit quite a few people in.
Monday Morning Café was a pleasant place to visit. The food was nice and the service was fast and friendly. The coffee was good too - an important factor for an Monday morning!
